Responsible for project P&L roll-up for designated Regional/Client grouping, ensuring appropriate contribution to margin, and high quality deliverables. Provides leadership and mentorship to Project Leaders.
Key Accountabilities - Quantify/qualify the characteristics of the Market in the designated Region/Client grouping, working with all relevant groups in PAREXEL - Provide reliable assumptions on business growth and achievable objectives - Develop or contribute to global client Account plans - Develop strategy to maximise profitability across the designated portfolio including positive cash flow payment schedules (or at a minimum cash neutral) and the timely signature of contractual documents. - Reviews, assesses the business risk and approves MSAs/contracts ensuring the contractual terms and conditions are in line with PAREXEL's requirements.
- Build thought leadership by participating in conferences, events, client presentations, etc. - Maintain extensive knowledge of relevant products and pipelines and identify business opportunities for PAREXEL - Actively develop Senior Client relations by leveraging knowledge and expertise - Adopt consultative approach with client R&D Departments in liaison with Sales - Identify client needs and develop creative solutions for projects, leveraging expertise, operational capabilities and technologies - Take leadership role on PAREXEL opportunities to drive project strategy and selling approach - Actively participate in proposal development process to ensure client needs are addressed and resourcing/pricing is appropriate to win the business and meet margin targets.
Review and sign off proposals prepared for allocated client portfolio. - Provide direct line management/support/mentoring to Project Leaders where appropriate - Provide senior oversight on ongoing projects to ensure quality, delivery and ongoing client satisfaction - Be senior point of escalation for issues and arrange for follow through of resolutions via the appropriate departments.
- Maintain good ongoing client relationships to drive repeat business - Work closely with all appropriate specialists in PAREXEL to be at the cutting edge of new concepts - Liaise with other Portfolio Directors to drive cross-fertilisation of opportunities and growth of Accounts - Ensure management information databases are accurate and up-to-date - Provide regular reports to management as requested - Provide reliable new business forecasts in liaison with Sales - Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management and development of the team to ensure their performance meets and or exceeds both the business and their own personal goals/objectives - Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner - Participate in formal staff review processes e.g.
