Troubleshoot and determine best course of repair to HVAC Systems, Chiller Units, Split AC Units, Small Refrigerators and Window A/C. This position requires a working knowledge of Direct Digital Control Systems (DDC) and their componets.

Have the ability to test for correct voltage, fluid pressure and any other factor concerning the operation of these systems. This position also requires other duties associated with Facility Maintenance.

Must be a self starter and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Duties and Responsibilities Specific assignment and responsibilities include but not limited to the following areas: PMCS Work Orders for the Air Conditioning Systems.

Must have knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools such as oxy/acrtylene torches, tapping machines, drills and charging systems. Responsible for care of Government equipment, tools, property, materials and assure that they are properly maintained and safeguarded.

Perform specific tasks in accordance with verbal and/or written instructions and observe safety, fire health and work rules. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Knowledge /Skills and ability Education: High School graduate or equivalent GED 2 Year Technical School or equivalent. A minimum of four years apprenticeship or equivalent work experience may be substituted for formal schooling.
