Hewlett-Packard India Pvt Ltd(HP) This position plays a key role within the ESS India Supply Chain group to manage a team of 15 to 20 people. The focus of this role is to support PLM & PDM activities and will be to manage various ESS PDM NPI/CP and working with various ESS functional groups.Establish thorough understanding of business needs/trends operation process flow to identify opportunity for process simplification and standardization to meet customer needs.Organize and lead cross-functional activities to ensure that all deliverables meet the customer requirements and business needs. Day to day program management by coordination with WW regional functions.Act as champion for higher-level management, and provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the team and other direct reports in the PLM/PDM Space. Accomplish this by coordinating activities through direct and indirect staff, working with remote management team to identify and improve overall efficiency of the program. Experience1. An in-depth knowledge of having applied PLM principles and concepts, broad-based functional knowledge, working knowledge of project management processes and tools, experience with product/system/solution lifecycles, and successful facilitation of work objectives using positive influence and coordination techniques.2. Experience in PLM business process design to enhance business benefits like collaboration, design productivity, data quality and knowledge management is desired.3. 6 to 8 years of experience in functional PLM space and overall 10 - 12 years of experience in IT industry.4. Managed direct reportees of 15 to 20 people5. Knowledge on the Supply Chain, SAP systems and server products would be an added advantage.6. Experience in program management with effective communication, negotiation and presentation skills7. Planning, organization, and facilitation skills8. Ability to manage and influence others (both within and outside your own direct work-group)9. Should possess strong analytical and structured problem solving skills10. The selected individual will be required to support Global Sourcing Initiatives and manage projects associated with low cost country sources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES Include the following, other duties may be assigned.o Develop infrastructure to support the Goodrich, Interiors global supply chain strategies and initiatives for machining by identifying and recommending best fit commodities to be pursued in LCC regions. Including but not limited to: LCC Sourcing, Supplier selection, assessment and maintenance.
