Position Title: Manager, India Outsourced Services Procurement Salary Grade: 12 Location: Mumbai, India SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Manager, Outsourced Services Procurement is accountable for the strategy planning, organizing, and execution of several services spend categories and the implementation and execution and 'best-in-class' strategic procurement methods for the country of India. The manager specializes in leveraging best practices to optimize spend management & value. The manager will interact with all levels of the organization, need to understand NCR Services requirements and will manage select external client and customer relationships. Spend categories include: Transactional Installation Services, Annuity and Maintenance Services, Professional and Managed Services, and Cash-in-Transit Services, Network Products and Services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Manages virtual teams tasked with: creating services spend plans, goals, objectives, forecasts and/or metrics; establishing sourcing best practices; developing & maintaining systematic, analytical, and results-based methods for monitoring vendor/supplier performance; identifying/tracking cost reduction opportunities; and presenting results to senior management. • Leads the development and directs/manages the execution/roll-out of global sourcing and demand management strategies for the respective spend categories; in cooperation with the respective functional management.
• Consolidates and leverages NCR spend to achieve improved cost, quality, service, and innovative technology solutions from vendors/suppliers within the respective spend category. • Directs and/or oversees the review, coordination, and administration of long-term and/or blanket purchase contracts for Services and the fulfillment of contractual obligations; including the development/establishment and coordination of Request for Proposals (RFP) in service categories.
• Leads, directs and/or coordinates negotiation team activities; including formal supplier negotiations, mediation and problem resolution. • Develop strong partnering relationships with internal management, strategic suppliers and facilities, management, • Develops/coaches commodity teams and leads process around outsourcing and/or supplier transition strategies.
Minimum Qualifications: - BA/BS undergraduate degree in Business (with emphasis in Supply Chain Management), Operations Management, Finance, Purchasing, or other related discipline - 5 years progressive supply chain management/procurement experience; including five or more years of supplier evaluation/assessment, purchasing, sourcing, logistics, and/or manufacturing/operations experience in the services area. - Working knowledge of supply chain and inventory strategies & practices; including demonstrated competency in strategic sourcing, e-commerce/information technology, and TCO/design-to-cost, design-for-service, etc.
- Strong forecasting, negotiations, and contract management skills; with budget management experience and a demonstrated ability to blend cost and service-level requirements to gain maximum value from suppliers. - Ability to indirectly influence and lead cross-BU and/or cross-functional teams, including a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally (internally) at all organizational levels and/or with outside professionals.

- Working knowledge of and experience with ERP systems Work Environment: Normal Office. Ability to travel (domestic and international) to support projects (as required); with occasional extended hours during peak work times.
