The job involves substantial travel (3-4 trips out of Chennai every month) and the candidate must be prepared for this. A background in social service or in working/volunteering with NGOs is desirable.

Marketing: Creating marketing collateral for our product, including presentations and brochures. Managing our website.

Maintaining a mailing list of our customers, managing a customers forum, and hosting discussions between customers, experts and technical staff on the internet. Bringing out a newsletter in electronic and text format.

Hosting conferences and workshops for trainers, educators and past & potential customers. Creating and curating instructional videos and manuals to disseminate the use of our product.

Engaging with the broader disability-welfare community in Chennai in particular, and India in general, with a view towards bringing. Invention Labs to the center of the ecosystem.

The ability to communicate with both business users and IT professionals is a must. Participate in the execution, verification and documentation of system integration and regression test cases for vendor software releases and or internally developed software.

Key Responsibilities / Duties: Define, execute, verify and document test cases and results. Define/verify the Unit/regression test plans and test cases.

Report software release issues from the various test phases. Seek to clarify and clearly communicate issues or problems.

Work as part of a project team, escalating critical / urgent software release issues to managers. Should be willing to work in production support.

Participate in the pre / post deployment tests. Provide feedback on opportunities to enhance the system / application.

Adhere to standards set by the Invesco project methodology. Participate in the development and maintenance of an automated testing methodology.

Walk through test results with business clients. Create appropriate QA matrices and share with the project/product managers.

Maintain an effective bug tracking mechanism. Decide whether there is a requirement for performance/load test for any delivery Manage that by coordinating with other QA teams (Performance and load tests) and if required involve/drive those tests.
